Experience the excitement of the Stations Concert for the Day of the Composer 2025! The event kicks off on the IJ-Boulevard with the vibrant Maat Saxophone Quartet, the festival ensemble accompanying the New Music NOW Express throughout the day. Following this, percussionist Mei Yi Lee performs Coral Speak by Amsterdam’s City Composer Kate Moore—a mesmerizing vibraphone work capturing the delicate beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.

Next up, Martin Fondse and Femi Dawkins present This is your favourite music station. Fondse, a versatile musician and former Composer Laureate of the Netherlands, joins forces with Dawkins, an interdisciplinary artist acclaimed for his powerful texts on social justice and identity. Expect train station announcements, spontaneous conductors, and plenty of energy.
