About the Event

The Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet –

one of the four finalists in the Dutch Classical Talent program – searches for inner peace and connection in a philosophically tinged program. The saxophonists do this through a fascinating journey through diverse works by Glass, Widmann, Henderickx, and Tafreshi, alternating virtuosity and contemplation.

An island that can incite anxiety, but is also a source of connection with everything and everyone.

The Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet was founded in 2019 by Lisa Schreiber, Jen-Hong Wu, Ileana Termini, and Pedro Silva, all four hailing from four different parts of the world. They found common ground in their passion for music…
