About the Event
In the hustle and bustle of modern life, the Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet seeks out silence. Their latest program explores the tension between isolation and connection, between inner peace and confronting emptiness. The Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet is a young and energetic chamber music ensemble that was founded in 2019. Coming from four different parts of the world, they found each other in the culturally vibrant city of Amsterdam.
Dutch Classical Talent Dutch Classical Talent is a development programme for young Dutch top musicians. Laureates include Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, the Van Baerle Trio and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet, to name but a few. Talent alone is not enough to reach the finals of Dutch Classical Talent. Participants must bring distinctive and stimulating programmes, vision and a bit of guts.
