Wednesday evening, July 3, 2024: as part of Classical "kaarslicht in de kerk," a fantastic performance by Ensemble Nova Soantia, supplemented by Jelte van Andel (double bass) and Mattias Spee (piano).
Location: Nicolaaskerk, Vlieland.
The Melopee Foundation, founded in 2021, organizes successful concerts throughout the Netherlands. The collaboration with the Nicolaaskerk Vlieland Foundation has resulted in a performance by this string quartet on the island.
Special this time is the participation of Mattias Spee as piano soloist. This pianist not only studied piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, but also composition and contemporary music. He has won numerous prizes, including at the Princess Christina Competition, the Steinway Piano Competition, the Rotterdam Piano Three Days and the Friends Culture Prize.
