About the Event

As a talent trajectory, Dutch Classical Talent is a concept in the Dutch classical music world. Through auditions, a professional jury chose four top talents for the final round. All participants have made their tour, today they will meet in the final. Among the laureates of Dutch Classical Talent are many resounding names such as Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer, Nora Fischer, Van Baerle Trio and the Berlage Saxophone Quartet. Today a new name is added to that list.

Professional jury and audience award After four extensive tours through the country, it is time to designate the winner of Dutch Classical Talent. The only moment that the four finalists can be heard during one concert. The presentation is in the hands of NPO Radio 4. A professional jury determines who can call themselves the winner, the public can make its voice heard for the Audience Award. The prize money amounts to € 10,000 and is intended to support the further career of the musician or ensemble. A festive afternoon with exciting and perhaps controversial moments.
