About the Event

RioHarpFestival arrives, in 2023, its 18th. edition and establishes itself as one of the main festivals in the world, transforming Rio de Janeiro into the World Capital of Harps and which expands to Brasilia (I BsbHarpFestival) and to São Paulo) around 150 musicians in different orchestral formations, and around 30 harpists from 22 countries. In addition to presenting the versatility of the instrument to the public in Rio de Janeiro, the RioHarpFestival, a pioneer in including community orchestras in its programming, arriving in Brasilia and expanding in São Paulo

There will be 73 concerts, 54 at CCBB, 5 at Palácio Tiradentes, in the center of Rio de Janeiro and also at other points: Army History Museum, Copacabana Fort, in Copacabana; one in Niteroi at Museu do Ingá, three at SESC Marquês de Abrantes, Flamengo and one at SESC Quitandinha, two in Miguel Pereira-RJ, in addition to a concert at Corcovado and another at Salão das Rosas of the Jockey Club Brasileiro, presenting the various types of harps and the respective sounds/rhythms from baroque to contemporary music.

The event is part of the project Music at the Museum- Intangible Cultural Heritage of Rio de Janeiro- , which in 2022 completed 25 years of uninterrupted activities, from January to December of each year, reaching Brazil from north to south, expanding, in the its international dimension, to cities in countries on all continents. Music at the Museum for 18 years emphasizes the harp through an international festival. It is important to point out that in September 2023, in parallel, it will perform concerts in the cities of , Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium and Austria in its European version Thank you for your support, We hope for you.
