Maat Saxophone Quartet at Festival BSP Junior 2022

About the Event
BSP Junior Festival is back in-person format for the Golden Edition.
Daily concerts, masterclasses guided by renowned chamber music groups and the Festival Orchestra are the big highlights of this new edition which will take place on the premises of the Porto Music Conservatory, on August 1st to 6th.
The usual instrument masterclasses will be guided by prominent chamber music groups on the national panorama Art'Ventus Quintet , Portuguese Brass , and Maat Saxophone Quartet ), with two days dedicated to each group. The possibility to sign up chamber music groups for the masterclass is also highlighted.
One of the bets for the 5th edition of the BSP Jr Festival is to bring the community a strong and event-filled lineup, with daily concerts highlighted by the opening concert by Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa directed by the maestro Francisco Ferreira , concerts by guest groups, concert by masterclass in direction and also Orchestra Festival concert
Finally, unlike previous editions, this year there will only be one orchestra: the Orchestra Festival and it will be conducted by maestro Douglas Bostock .
At the same time, the III edition of the International Masterclass on Management led by Maestro Douglas Bostock will take place. This year's edition features works by Martin ovit, Milhaud, Martin, Horovitz and Woolfenden. Applications are open until 20-06-2022.
