Contemporary/classical
The Mezzo Quartet was formed in 2017 at the Liceu Conservatory under the tutelage of Albert Julià. Since then, it has achieved great results, both in chamber and interdisciplinary competitions, playing both 19th century classical music and contemporary composers. The formation has been recognized by the juries of several competitions, in which they have obtained numerous awards: first prize in the Tribuna Sax-Ensemble competition (2022), which took place in Madrid; first prize in the XXII Chamber Music Podiums of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada (2018); first prize and the public vote prize in the II City of Mataró Music Award (2018); honorable mention in the Professional Degree in Chamber Music, at the Terrassa Conservatory (2018); the first prize in the Pugem a l'Escenari de Joventuts Musicals in Sant Cugat del…
