We live in a world that focuses on being happy, but some people go through dark periods in their lives and find little support and help in solving their problems. Not everything is as it seems at first glance. If we open ourselves more to others and offer a listening ear, could we then find more happiness and harmony?
'IDIOSYNCRATIC: take a deep dive down' takes a dive into the psyche of three people. The opera depicts the struggle between the cold and harsh society and the emotional characters who want to express their feelings. Both the music, the libretto, and the staging show the friction between these two worlds. What happens when someone stands up and speaks out for their opinion? Will there be a change? Will the moment come when they are heard?
