This is my personal blog, where I write about the artists I meet, my collaborations, the artworks I discover, and the books I read. I also share behind-the-scenes stories of my projects, revealing the untold and often hidden aspects of my creative process. find me in the nearest contemporary art museum, mesmerized by the disturbing beauty of Bahman Mohasses’ paintings or the sacred geometry of Massoud Arabshahi;
find me at the top of the lighthouse on Schiermonnikoog, looking over the vast blue of the North Sea, wondering about A Shimmering Light flickering somewhere in the distance;
find me in the beautiful region of Deylamān, following the voice of a folk singer singing Âvâz Heybat;
find me by the closest bookstore, stunned by the beauty and bitter truth of Forugh Farrokhzad’s poems, the simple, mystical world of Sohrab Sepehri, or the heart-wrenching pain of Nousha in Abbas Maroufi’s 'The Year of Turmoil'.
I am somewhere between all these places, stories, sounds and silences, searching for a reason to write my music.
